As mentioned above, Amateur Radio (public service work/traffic handling) is my primary interest despite the decline of formal traffic. In January 1999 all my traffic handling stopped because of upheaval generated by WA7EES, now W7EES, on the air. Several decades of traffic handling ceased.

In the past I've extensively indulged in DXing with 281 countries worked and 277 confirmed; Satellite activity is emensly challenging; and the occassional DX chasing on 10 meters when band conditions permit can be enjoyable.

Another interest I've indulged in since the early 1970's has been Computers. With the so rapidly changing technology, I can't lose sight of the fact that if I blink, technology will outrun me. I make every effort to stay abreast of things.
Beginning in early 2007, after acquiring my own domain name, I manage my own web page, the Oregon Emergency Net web page, the Beaver State Net Page and the So Smart web page. A fun, yet at times, challenging project.
