Oregon Election Fraud

The country where Human Rights, Voter Rights and Democracy are supposed to be treasured rights, there is one place where Election Fraud is prevailant. Welcome to the small town of Shady Cove, Oregon with a population of less than 2800. At one time this was viewed as an ideal Retirement location. Over the past 15 years, crooked political practice has taken its toll. Over time, the City Fathers have taken over and are not letting loose of old practices.

During the latter part of the 1990s to 2003, this town has had proposals for a water system. The cost of such a system was prohibitively expensive, consequently was voted down two or three times in a row. Someone decided to try something new. They had a special election to establish a Water District just to look into the feasibility of bringing water to Shady Cove, but this time, the owners of Mobile homes were not allowed to vote, since in the past, they tended to mostly vote against the water projects. As a result, the proposal squeaked by with an approval.

Many residents sent letters of complaint to the Oregon Secretary of State, to Senators Ron Wyden, Gorden Smith and numerous other Political figures only to fall on deaf ears.

With serious internal problems on the Water District, a 2005 vote dissolved the Water District. One hard core individual named Jim Collier was determined to resurrect the District. He apparently found a loophole in the election process and managed to convince a 3 Judge panel in Salem, Or. to overturn the vote of the people by declaring the Water District a legitimate entity.

The three Judge panel consisted of Judge Landau (Presiding Judge), Judge Schuman and Judge Ortega. Bet he didn't tell the Judges that the Mobile Home residents were not allowed to vote.

Collier and Company immediately proceeded to draft an Ordinance in order to collect funds for paying all his legal fees, lunches, travel expenses, Lawyer Fees, etc. This Ordinance now will charge everyone in Shady Cove a $6.00 per month FEE to raise the needed money. Furthermore, this Ordinance allows this Renegade Shady Cove Water District to add the cost of them getting commercial water to the city. The cost now is higher than previous proposals, in excess of $63.00/month for a mere 3000 gallons. One thing overlooked by most residents of Shady Cove is the fact that this Water District has nothing to do with Shady Cove at all. The City Fathers have never signed off on the Ordinance, so how do they expect to collect the monthly fee that is imposed on us? Time will tell.

In May of 2008, a Fraud Complaint was launched with the Oregon Election Fraud Div. Again, they suggested taking it to the Secretary of State, which has already been done. In essence, this Fraud can go on and on and nothing ever gets done about it. So why Vote?  Just settle for whatever is doled out, then you can't complain about anything.

This once nice little Retirement town  has turned into a nightmare for most. If you're looking for a dream spot, don't look here, you won't find it.
